Description
A superb finishing hole. Anyone who walks away with par or better on this hole will walk away satisfied no matter what the score for his or her round. This demanding hole plays uphill from tee to green and many times directly into the westerly winds. The green has three tiers with the back portion, along with the front, quite small. No matter where the flag, do not be above the hole.
How to Play
All you can hit off the tee. Shorter hitters will have a long iron or fairway metal to the green. Big hitters will have at least a 7 or 8 iron to the green depending on the flag location. If the flag is red, you cannot be in the middle of the green. It is better to be short than long if one wants to make par. Being uphill, it is better to take one or two extra clubs to reach the putting surface. Once on the green, if you are above the hole, make no worse than bogey as three or four putts can be common. This green also has the Indio effect in direction of putts. Par once again is a good score.
