Course & Cart Etiquette

GUIDELINES FOR GOLF COURSE

AND GOLF CART ETIQUETTE

Courtesy and cooperation from our membership is required so that ALL golfers have a pleasant and satisfying experience here at Mission Lakes. As with any facility like ours, there are expectations that our members and guests conduct themselves appropriately and with respect for other members, guests, MLCC management and staff.

Therefore, we ask that members and guests follow golf course and golf cart etiquette guidelines and obey any reasonable request by the Pro Shop or MLCC staff.  Examples of such guidelines include:

  • Drive and park on available cart paths especially around teeing areas, greens, and other restricted areas.

  • Use two power carts per threesome or foursome unless approved by the Pro Shop in advance.

  • Carts with MLCC authorized blue handicap flags must park a minimum of 15 feet away from either side or behind the greens and must park on available cart paths at teeing areas.

  • Parking in front of greens is prohibited.

  • Use of the practice facilities (driving range, chipping and putting greens) in violation of any posted conditions or restrictions is prohibited.

  • Dangerous or irresponsible use of golf carts is not allowed at any time.

  • Abusive or threatening behavior towards Golf Course staff and/or fellow competitors is prohibited.

  • Follow any temporary golf course restrictions imposed by the Pro Shop Staff or Golf Course Superintendent.

  • Always check in with the Pro Shop prior to the start of your round.

  • Do not disrupt the flow of play by starting (cutting in) on a hole other than your designated starting hole without permission of the Pro Shop.

  • Check in and pay the appropriate fee at the Pro Shop before taking guests onto the golf course.

  • Fix yours and others’ divots and ball marks.

Violation of the Rules of Conduct as published in the MLCC Rules and Regulations may result in disciplinary action by the MLCC Board of Directors including suspension of Golf Privileges.

Thank you for doing your part to help us all maintain the

pristine condition of our beautiful golf course!
